Welcome to the Postpartum Place! Let us tell you about ourselves and what we offer. The Postpartum Place is operated by nurse/lactation consultants who have over 20 years experience helping new moms. We can help in many ways: 1) We offer one-on-one breastfeeding consulting and membership in the Postpartum Place (formerly the Lactation Resource Center) where you can take advantage of a number of benefits including unlimited telephone support to answer your questions regarding newborns and reduced rates on classes and merchandise. Click the link below to see our membership brochure. 2) We also offer a luxurious retreat, the Mommy Nest, where new mothers can relax, learn, and revive with their newborns. The Mommy Nest provides mothers with private round-the-clock support in those first days after being discharged from the hospital. We also sponsor support groups for new moms where you can benefit from the experience of others and contribute your own ideas and stories.
