Education

 Learn everything you need to know about ties and how they can impact your baby short term and long.  Get the information you require, in a manner you can understand, in order to make an informed decision. We will "untie" all the information for you.

Proper Prep

If you choose to have your baby's ties released, we adhere to the standard of care.  Which is to properly prep the baby for release with suck training and bodywork. We do all in the office.  Plus, parents are taught how to perform specific exercises at home as well as feeding  management.

The Right Referrals

​Choosing an experienced professional to do the release is key.  We can provide you with a list of questions to ask and a referral to the best in this specialty. You will be in the best hands because you and your baby's experience is paramount.  

Remediation 

We will hand-hold you through the entire process. Because it's what we do after the procedure that is extremely important for the best outcome.  Only short-term comfort measures are needed.

Overall, It takes 2-4 weeks for proper function to set in even though there can be immediate positive results.

Close Follow-up

We are in close contact via phone.  Expect to be seen the day after the procedure and then again at one & two weeks post procedure.  Follow up includes feeding, suck training and bodywork. plus whatever else you may need

Outcome

A lifetime of competency instead of compensation when it comes to breathing, eating (swallowing/chewing) sleeping, facial development and speech.
