ITony's Fitness Class
Quebrado Na Natureza            (Broken in Nature):

An indigenous form of strength training found in the Brazilian Amazon. The concept is to slow the breathing process down and work with the elements of nature which inevitably will break your traditional idea of basic fitness. The subtle movement s are based on the art of survival without an aggressive mindset in which one will shed their humanistic ideas of proper movement and submit to the love of nature which is more powerful than anything.  This program will not only strengthen ones physical body but will also balance their mindset through meditation and strenuous activity without the traditional “set & reps” system.  The overall goal is to grow from the inside with such a respect for the daily breathe that the outside physical transformation is just an after thought.

InfanTango!
Dance classes for parents & their children (3wks-3 yrs!)

The “Dancing With the Babes” class takes its name from the popular TV show "Dancing With The Stars", but that’s where the similarity ends. In this class your partner is not a Hollywood celebrity - it’s your baby.!  There’s no competition; instead emphasis is placed on the "skin to skin” and “body to body” concepts that release endorphins and promote bonding between parents and their babies.  "Dancing With The Babes" also focuses on the development of partnering skills, lead and follow, basic principles of timing, foot work and variations of simple turn patterns.

“No previous dance experience is required.  All classes are built on the instinctual response babies and toddlers have to music and to the movement of their parents, but the benefits are many. In addition to promoting strong parent-child connections, all classes contribute to overall fitness and provide a great outlet for family fun and laughter!

Breathwork

Meditation

Want to manage your anger so you don't feel you're always on the verge of blowing up? Want to feel less stressed and juggle all the things going on in your life? Need to focus better?

Meditation is a way to get quiet, calm, and focused. It trains your mind to slow down, relax, and stay positive. Meditating for just a few minutes a day can help you feel centered, balanced, and more in control — even during the times when you're not actually meditating.

Breathwork  is a natural and incredibly powerful healing modality that facilitates deep emotional, psychological and physical cleansing. A transformational technique that can ignite intense inner exploration, Breathwork opens the client to new possibilities of themselves and who they are in the world.

I'Restorative Yoga
Toning & Tuning Tuesdays'm another title

Restorative yoga is simply perfect for relaxing your mind and body. It is a passive practice. The body is placed in simple positions on the floor, and the joints of the body are supported by specially folded blankets and pillows. Then with eyes closed, you rest in a supported position of comfort. All the stress in your body just drains away.

We can re-train the body-mind to let go. A regular Restorative Yoga practice is amazing at re-training the body-mind to allow itself to let go. “The power of letting go is the most nurturing thing I have ever done for myself. I highly recommend this practice for everyone.” – Alyssa Frey OT
